Are your earrings comfortable for all-day wear?
Yes — comfort is a priority. Our designs allow for movement and are made to feel easy, not restrictive.

Will your hoops fit thicker earlobes?
They’re designed with extra space to accommodate a range of earlobe sizes comfortably.

Ordering

How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. This is the time it takes to prepare, pack, and hand off your order to the carrier — it does not include shipping time.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Because orders are processed within 1–3 business days, changes need to be requested quickly. If you reach out before your order is packed, we’ll do our best to update it.

I entered the wrong shipping address — what should I do?
Contact us as soon as possible. If your order hasn’t been processed yet, we can update the address. Once it’s been shipped, we’re unable to make changes.

When will I know my order is confirmed?
You’ll receive a confirmation email immediately after placing your order, followed by a shipping confirmation once it’s on the way.

Can I send this as a gift?
Absolutely. Our pieces are packed in a soft jewelry pouch and nestled inside a gift-ready box. It'll be great on it's own or you can add gift wrapping at checkout.

We carefully make and ship your order within 1-3 business days. After that, delivery depends on your chosen shipping speed.

What are your shipping options?

First Class (Standard Shipping) : Add 3–7 business days from processing

Priority Shipping : Add 1-3 business days

Express Shipping : Add 1–2 business days

International Shipping: Add 7–21 business days

Processing times do not include weekends or holidays. Delays may occur due to inclement weather, carrier issues, or high-volume periods.

Do you offer exchanges?
Yes — if something doesn’t work for you, we’re happy to exchange it for a better fit or style.

What’s your return policy?
We accept returns and exchanges up to 30 days. Items must be in original condition and packaging. Email us to start the process.

Materials

What kind of materials do you use?
We focus on durable, nickel-free metals that range from 14k Gold Filled, Sterling Silver, Brass or Stainless Steel with advanced plating technology. 

What's the difference between Gold Filled and Gold Plated?
Metal + plating technology can get complicated pretty fast but the shortest answer is: both are terms to indicate which method gold was / is layered or applied to the base metal. Which may sometimes determine the longevity of the piece. Ohjousan uses both types for fit, function and design versatility. We love to talk jewelry - just send an email if you need more info on this.

Will the jewelry tarnish?
Usually - no. But ohjousan is more of a realist than an absolutist. Jewelry is much like any other consumable. Think t-shirts, sweaters, socks, shoes, jackets - you get the picture. While the metals are made to be durable, plated with advanced technology and finished with water-resistant coating -- your mileage may vary. The longevity of each piece depends on: how it's worn, how much it's worn, what environment you live + play in, and lastly; skin chemistry. These factors are different for everyone but with proper care and usage, pieces can last a VERY long time. 

How do I care for the jewelry?

Keep your pieces dry, avoid contact with lotions or perfumes, and store them in a clean, dry place when not in use.
